Loading Capture the Flag map from an FBX File using MayaExporter

Controls:

Move Camera: W, A, S, D

Rotate Camera: Q, E

Loaded a CTF map into the engine:

  • Did not have to modify anything in the Engine to load the fbx.

  • Grouped meshes based on materials in Maya and did an export selection to get single mesh file.

  • Mapped each mesh file with corresponding material.

  • Loaded the normal and specular maps too.

  • Had to change near plane from 0.1 to 10.

Fly Camera Creation:

  • Had to modify some of the rotation handling in the engine to support camera rotation.

  • Fixed a bug with velocity of Actor.
